KNR Constructions Ltd has secured a significant Letter of Acceptance for a ₹319.24-crore project to construct a new iconic bridge spanning Mir Alam Tank in Hyderabad. This crucial infrastructure development will be undertaken on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, with a stipulated completion period of 24 months.
The new bridge is designed to link the Bengaluru National Highway at Shastripuram directly to Chintalmet. This initiative forms a vital part of the broader strategy to significantly improve mobility and connectivity within the Musi riverfront area, promising enhanced commuter experiences.
This contract award comes despite KNR Constructions reporting a subdued financial performance for the second quarter of FY26, with a substantial year-on-year decline in net profit and revenue. The company's stock also saw a decrease following these financial disclosures.
