11 Aug
Summary
- Hims & Hers raised its annual revenue forecast significantly.
- The company beat second-quarter revenue estimates due to subscriber growth.
- A partnership with Novo Nordisk offers the Wegovy weight-loss drug.

Hims & Hers Health (HIMS.N) has announced an optimistic financial outlook, raising its annual revenue forecast to between $3.1 billion and $3.3 billion. This upward revision follows a strong second quarter where the company surpassed revenue expectations, driven by a nearly 19% increase in its subscriber base to approximately 2.9 million. Monthly online revenue per subscriber also climbed by 21% to $92.
The company's strategic shift towards offering FDA-approved treatments, including Novo Nordisk's Wegovy through a partnership established in March, has been a key growth driver. This pivot, however, impacted gross margins, reducing them to 64% from 76% in the prior year. Hims & Hers anticipates returning to profitability in 2027, having incurred approximately $33 million in restructuring costs related to this transition.
Looking ahead, Hims & Hers aims for substantial long-term growth, with a goal of reaching $6.5 billion in revenue by 2030. The company's financial chief expressed confidence in continued domestic business acceleration throughout the second half of the current year.
