HDFC Asset Management Company announced a significant 20% year-on-year increase in its net profit for the December quarter, reaching ₹769 crore. This financial performance was bolstered by a healthy 15% growth in revenue to ₹1,075 crore and a 17% rise in average assets under management (AUM) to ₹9.25 lakh crore.
Despite a marginal drop in market share to 12.6%, the fund house experienced substantial growth in key investment areas. Equity-oriented assets climbed 18% to ₹5.66 lakh crore, and debt assets grew 17% to ₹1.86 lakh crore, indicating strong investor confidence. Notably, SIP inflows surged by 24% to ₹4,730 crore, with SIP assets under management reaching ₹2.21 lakh crore.
The company's financial results, published on January 14, 2026, reflect a positive trend in the asset management sector. The fund house maintains a surplus of ₹8,727 crore across various mutual fund schemes. Shares of the company saw a 3% increase, trading at ₹2,555 crore on the reporting date.
