The new venture, called GX Quantum Photonics Pvt Ltd, will be headquartered in Manesar, Gurgaon and will see an initial investment of $70 million (Rs 500 crore).

The first phase of this investment will go towards establishing a manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, as well as expanding the company's existing R&D center in Chennai. The company plans to start operating the new facility and R&D center by the first quarter of fiscal year 2027.
