Industrialists in Greater Noida recently met District Magistrate Medha Roopam to address long-standing issues impacting UPSIDA Site-5 and Site-B/C areas, specifically waterlogging, drainage, and cleanliness. The delegation from the Industrial Business Association (IBA) also presented a proposal to transform Udyog Kendra-2 in Ecotech-3 into a premier, world-class gated industrial zone.
DM Roopam assured the industrialists that their concerns would be prioritized. She directed officials to foster effective coordination and implement necessary actions. To ensure resolution, weekly meetings with UPSIDA will be established, with progress regularly monitored.
Regarding the proposed Udyog Kendra-2 development, a joint committee comprising representatives from the district administration, UPSIDA, and IBA will be formed. This committee will supervise the development work, with subsequent progress reports. The IBA also expressed gratitude for the DM's initiative in opening the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium for public use at a nominal annual fee, citing her proactive approach as confidence-boosting for the entrepreneurial community.
