Gold Prices Soar: To Increase by Rs 3,700

Gold prices experienced a notable increase on Saturday, with the per tola price of 24 karat gold rising by Rs 3,700 to settle at Rs 473,262. The price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold also climbed by Rs 3,172, reaching Rs 405,745. This upward trend was also observed in the international market, where gold prices increased by $37 per ounce.
Silver prices followed suit, with the per tola price increasing by Rs 270 to Rs 8,465. Ten grams of silver also saw an increment of Rs 232, bringing its price to Rs 7,257. International silver prices similarly rose by $2.7 per ounce.
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) reported these figures. The gold rates were calculated based on interbank exchange rates and purity standards of 999.
