Godrej Properties has set an ambitious target of Rs 39,000 crore in pre-sales for the current fiscal year, representing a 14 percent increase from the previous year. This projection is underpinned by sustained strong consumer demand for homes. The company also aims to collect Rs 24,000 crore from customers in the same period, a significant rise from the Rs 19,965 crore collected in the last fiscal year.
Executives expressed confidence in achieving these financial goals, citing a robust pipeline of new launches and existing inventories. The company plans to acquire new land parcels capable of generating Rs 20,000 crore in revenue. This follows a successful acquisition of 18 land parcels in the last fiscal year, with a combined revenue potential of Rs 42,100 crore.
While acknowledging global uncertainties, particularly the West Asia conflict, the company stated it would remain watchful and adjust plans if necessary. However, demand has normalized since April after a slight dip in March. Godrej Properties, a leading developer, aims to retain its position as the biggest listed realty firm.
