A significant new convention and exhibition facility has been established in South Goa, overlooking the Arabian Sea. This 4,000-seat convention centre, along with a permanent exhibition hall and a management development facility, is located on the expansive campus of ONGC's Advanced Training Institute (ATI) in Betul.
The state-of-the-art venue is conveniently accessible via a 15-minute ferry ride from major beachside resorts, enhancing connectivity for attendees. The facility was developed with the vision of positioning Goa as a prime location for large national and international conferences, award shows, and marquee events.
The convention centre itself boasts a seating capacity of approximately 4,000 people and is equipped with numerous supporting rooms, including VVIP and VIP lounges, meeting rooms, and dining facilities. Additional amenities across the campus include a floating jetty, helipad, centralized air-conditioning, robust power backup, and advanced waste management systems.
The ATI campus also houses India's largest 'behind-the-meter' 5 megawatt microgrid, incorporating solar installations, a wind turbine, and a substantial lithium-ion battery storage system. ONGC plans to collaborate with MICE domain experts to manage operations and marketing, further aligning with the Ministry of Tourism's goals to promote business tourism.
