This project will introduce 300,000 sq ft of retail, grocery, and restaurant space, featuring anchor stores like Whole Foods and Dick's House of Sport. Developers aim to establish Gilbert as a premier destination, drawing comparisons to upscale Scottsdale.

Realtors express enthusiasm for the "high-end" additions, believing they will enhance the town's quality of life and attract more visitors to the East Valley. The inclusion of a Whole Foods, in particular, is seen as fulfilling a demand for organic and farm-to-table options among residents who have increasingly sought such amenities locally rather than traveling to neighboring cities.

However, the rapid development raises concerns among some long-term residents who fear a loss of Gilbert's unique character.
