Global hospitality group IHG Hotels & Resorts has introduced its conversion brand, Garner Hotels, to Southeast Asia with a new hotel in Pattaya, Thailand. This 153-room property is conveniently located near Pattaya Beach, shopping centers, and dining options, offering guests free Wi-Fi, workspace areas, and comfortable bedding. The hotel also features a 24-hour self-service laundry, rooftop pool, fitness center, and a lobby shop.
The Gather Café serves as a dining area and co-working space, while a unique 'Sketches of Humanity' art display at reception highlights guest diversity. Vivek Bhalla, IHG's South East Asia and Korea managing director, expressed excitement about Garner being the 12th IHG brand in the region, emphasizing its value proposition of a great sleep, convenient breakfast, and central location at an affordable price.
Since its debut in 2023, Garner Hotels has seen rapid international growth, now boasting over 72 open locations worldwide, with approximately 80 more in development across Europe, North America, and Asia. This expansion includes recent openings like Garner Hotel Kyoto Shijo Karasuma.
