Frontier Airlines has reintroduced its GoWild pass for $349, promising unlimited travel through April 2027. While the upfront cost seems low for potentially numerous flights, the fine print reveals significant limitations. Pass holders can book domestic flights one day in advance and international flights ten days ahead, but numerous blackout dates eliminate peak travel periods like holidays and summer weekends.

Beyond the restricted dates, the pass's value hinges on seat availability, which is capacity-controlled and limited. This mirrors the frustrating experience of booking award travel, where paid seats are abundant but award inventory is scarce. Frontier offers no transparency on how many seats are allocated to pass holders, making actual usability uncertain.

Travelers must also account for additional fees for seat assignments, baggage, and priority boarding.
