Fin.com, a new financial infrastructure provider, has officially launched after securing $20 million in seed funding. The round was spearheaded by venture firm Expa, with participation from other notable investors like Coinbase Ventures and several global offices.
Based in New York, Fin.com operates a sophisticated orchestration layer designed to streamline international financial transactions. Clients can utilize the platform to receive, convert, and transfer money across borders by leveraging local payment networks.
The company's integrated system incorporates SWIFT messaging, virtual USD accounts, stablecoin settlement, liquidity management, and compliance tools. Fin.com currently serves some of the world's largest payment platforms and digital asset exchanges, extending its reach to 825 million end-users.
Fin.com is pursuing a strategic growth model centered on acquiring licensed local financial entities rather than building from scratch. To date, seven acquisitions have been finalized, with a target of twelve by the end of the year. The newly raised capital will fuel the expansion of payment corridors and support this acquisition pipeline.
Furthering its aggressive expansion, Fin.com plans to acquire a licensed bank within the next six months. The firm presently employs over 200 individuals across six international offices, positioning itself as a significant emerging player in the global fintech landscape.
