FAO Schwarz, a beloved toy store with over 160 years of history, is set to open its second New York City location for the first time in more than a century. This new store will be housed within the Nordstrom NYC Flagship.
The partnership between FAO Schwarz and Nordstrom extends beyond New York City. An assortment of FAO Schwarz items will become available on Nordstrom's website starting this month. Additionally, later this year, eight other Nordstrom locations nationwide will feature "The Jewel Box," a curated store-within-a-store concept.
Customers can anticipate iconic FAO Schwarz experiences, such as the renowned dance-on piano from the movie "Big." The collaboration also includes tailored collections for infant and preschool-aged children, alongside exclusive toy launches designed for Nordstrom shoppers. Select Nordstrom stores will offer hands-on activities like handbag design, baby doll adoption, and customizable makeup kits, alongside Brio wooden train collections.
