Honda Cars India is preparing to launch the facelifted Honda City on May 22, 2026. Recent spy sightings have culminated in an uncamouflaged image revealing notable design changes to the front fascia.
The updated sedan adopts a cleaner, sharper design language influenced by global Honda models like the Accord and Prelude. It features redesigned LED headlamps with integrated DRLs that flow into a large, mesh-patterned grille, and a new front bumper with angular inserts.
While the silhouette remains largely unchanged, higher trims are expected to receive new wheels and feature ADAS camera integration. The interior is anticipated to receive more features, including a possible 360-degree camera, to enhance its appeal against rivals.
Mechanical changes are unlikely, with the facelift expected to retain the current 1.5-litre petrol engine and the strong hybrid e:HEV powertrain. Pricing is expected to see a slight increase over the current model.
