Fabience, a premium furniture manufacturer based in Hyderabad, is undertaking a significant expansion with plans for a new Greenfield plant near the city. This new facility, covering over 1.5 lakh sq. ft., will involve an investment of approximately ₹50 crore and is expected to be operational by next year. The plant is designed to boost employment by creating around 100 direct job opportunities.
The upcoming manufacturing hub will feature advanced Italian and German machinery, focusing on automation and precision to enhance production efficiency. This expansion specifically aims to scale up Fabience's capabilities in producing movable furniture, including sofas and chairs, while also continuing to grow its modular furniture offerings. The company, established in 2018, currently operates a 2 lakh sq. ft. facility and has already invested ₹80 crore.
Fabience's strategic vision includes expanding its domestic market reach across 15 Indian states and increasing its global exports, particularly to the United States. This move aligns with market projections estimating the Indian furniture market to reach USD 31.5 billion by 2026 and USD 45 billion by 2031.
"Our vision is to build Fabience into an Indian furniture manufacturing brand capable of competing with leading global manufacturers in technology, quality, design, precision, and scale," stated Managing Director Mr. Raj Venu Gopal Takkallapally. The company emphasizes leveraging advanced technology and automation to achieve international quality standards.
