Equity mutual fund inflows experienced a significant rebound in June, increasing by over a quarter to ₹28,973 crore. Investors channeled ₹11,692 crore into these segments, comprising approximately 40% of June's total equity inflows.
Systematic investment plan (SIP) collections also rose by 2.67% to ₹31,781 crore in June. Despite outflows from debt funds, the overall mutual fund industry's assets under management (AUM) edged up by 0.8%. The Nifty Midcap 150 and Nifty Smallcap 250 indices demonstrated strong gains, outperforming the broader Nifty in June and over the preceding three months, attracting substantial investor interest.
