Specialty pharmaceutical company Encube Ethicals has initiated the process for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) valued at Rs 3,000 crore, by filing preliminary documents with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). This public offering is structured entirely as an offer for sale (OFS), with funds directed to the selling promoter, Mehul Madhusudan Shah, and existing shareholder Frontier Investment Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Established in 1995, Encube Ethicals operates as a global platform for specialty pharmaceutical formulations. The company possesses deep expertise in technically complex topical and transdermal dosage forms. As of March 31, 2026, it serves 50 countries, encompassing regulated markets like the United States, the UK, and Europe, alongside India.
Encube Ethicals provides comprehensive development and manufacturing services to over 160 pharmaceutical firms worldwide. Its manufacturing sites hold accreditations from 11 regulatory bodies, including the USFDA, EU GMP, and Japan PMDA. As of March 31, 2026, the company supported its operations with a workforce of 1,684 employees.
Financially, Encube Ethicals reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,848.7 crore and a net profit of Rs 436.7 crore during FY26. The shares are slated for listing on the BSE and NSE. JM Financial, Axis Capital, and Kotak Mahindra Capital Company are managing the book running, with MUFG Intime India serving as the registrar.
