Enagas Eyes 235M Euro Profit, Lower Than 2025
17 Feb
Summary
- Enagas anticipates 235 million euros profit in 2026, down from 2025.
- Higher earnings in 2025 were boosted by asset sales and arbitration.
- 2024 saw a net loss of 299.3 million euros due to a US asset sale.

Spanish grid operator Enagas has projected a profit of 235 million euros for the current year, marking a reduction from its 2025 earnings. This forecast comes after a robust performance in 2025, which yielded a profit of 266.3 million euros. The previous year's success was significantly attributed to strategic asset sales and a positive arbitration outcome related to an investment in Peru.
Earlier in 2024, Enagas reported a net loss amounting to 299.3 million euros. This financial setback was a direct consequence of divesting an asset located in the United States. For the current year, the company anticipates its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization to be around 620 million euros, compared to 675.7 million euros recorded in 2025.
