AI voice generation firm ElevenLabs announced it has achieved an $11 billion valuation after successfully raising $500 million in its latest funding round. This Series D funding, led by Sequoia Capital, saw its valuation more than triple from its $3.3 billion valuation in January 2025. New investors like Lightspeed Venture Partners and Evantic Capital joined existing backers such as Andreessen Horowitz and ICONIQ.
Founded in 2022, London-based ElevenLabs develops AI tools, including a text-to-speech platform. The company plans to utilize the new capital to fuel its global expansion and advance research into emotional conversational models and dubbing technologies. This follows a trend of heavy investment in AI firms across various sectors.
ElevenLabs is currently experiencing viral popularity through the OpenClaw ecosystem, where users integrate its voice models for personal AI agents. The company reported over $330 million in annual recurring revenue in 2025 and aims to double this figure this year. CEO Mati Staniszewski stated plans to expand its Creative offering, enabling businesses to build interactive AI agents.
