Dubai has launched a pioneering 'Work from Park' initiative, providing a unique alternative to traditional offices. The first such facility opened at Al Barsha Pond Park on Monday, November 2, offering residents the chance to work surrounded by nature.
This new public space features complimentary outdoor workspaces with internet and power sockets, accessible without prior booking. Paid options include air-conditioned co-working areas for up to 30 people, meeting rooms for nine, and private offices, available through monthly to yearly leases.
The initiative, a collaboration between Dubai Municipality, Letswork, and Group AMANA, aims to transform parks into vibrant community hubs. Beyond workspace, it encourages networking and healthier lifestyles, with plans for community events and fitness activities.
Construction was rapid, utilizing modular buildings completed in under three months. Dubai Municipality is collecting feedback to potentially expand this concept to other parks across the emirate, blending work with well-being.
