Domino's Pizza Enterprises has named Andrew Gregory, a seasoned executive from McDonald's, as its new chief executive officer. Gregory, who most recently served as McDonald's senior vice president for global franchising, development, and delivery in the United States, boasts over 30 years of experience in the quick-service restaurant sector.
This leadership appointment occurs at a critical juncture for Domino's. The company has faced a turbulent period marked by senior executive departures, declining sales, increasing costs, and intense market competition. These factors culminated in Domino's reporting its first annual loss in fiscal 2025 since its initial public offering more than two decades ago. The franchise operator expects Gregory to commence his new role by August 5, 2026.
Domino's Pizza Enterprises operates as the largest master franchisee for the U.S.-based Domino's Pizza in 12 countries across Asia, Europe, and the combined regions of Australia and New Zealand. Executive Chairman Jack Cowin expressed confidence that Gregory is well-positioned to guide the company toward improved performance and future growth.
