 - 35 seniors attend informational session on assistance programs
 - Customers learn about LIHEAP and EnergyShare to reduce bills

On November 3, 2025, Dominion Energy hosted an Energy Assistance Day in collaboration with the Piedmont Agency on Aging. The community outreach event aimed to help local senior citizens access critical resources and information about various support programs.
Approximately 35 seniors attended the one-day informational session, where they connected with service providers to learn more about the assistance options available to income-eligible residents. Dominion Energy representatives offered customers tips on how to lower their monthly energy bills and provided details on programs like the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and EnergyShare.
"These Energy Assistance Days give our customers a chance to meet with our team face-to-face, making it easier to understand and apply for programs like EnergyShare and LIHEAP," said Kaytee Watson, manager of customer assistance for Dominion Energy South Carolina. "The goal is to reduce barriers for seniors who may encounter issues with using online forms or finding transportation. In turn, they can take back what they learn and share it with their neighbors and communities."
