Summary
- Morauw moves to VP, Communications at Walt Disney Studios.
- She will lead comms for Disney Live Action and 20th Century.
- The changes follow new CEO's team appointments.

Disney's communications department is seeing shifts under the new leadership of CEO Josh D'Amaro and communications chief Paul Roeder. Nastasya Morauw, previously the Vice President of Communications and Awards at Disney's Searchlight Pictures, is transitioning to a new role.
Morauw will now serve as the VP of Communications for Walt Disney Studios. In this capacity, she will be the main point person for communications strategies concerning Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios.
This organizational adjustment follows the recent establishment of Roeder's senior communications team. Reporting directly to Roeder are several key figures, including David Jefferson and April Carretta as EVPs of Communications. Carrie Brown is appointed SVP of Internal Communications, and Mariana Vaca steps in as Director of Communications.
With Vaca's promotion, Shelby Cotten, who was previously on the Direct-to-Consumer comms team, will now assume her position as director. Cotten will report to Morauw in this new structure. No replacement has yet been named for Morauw's prior position at Searchlight Pictures.
