Delivery Driver Hired to Dump Trash in Lucknow

A peculiar incident in Lucknow has ignited a social media debate after a Rapido delivery partner was tasked with transporting household garbage. The delivery partner arrived at the pickup location, where he received a sealed cardboard box from a customer.

After confirming the payment was made online, the driver proceeded to the drop-off location. To his surprise, no recipient was present, only a garbage dump. The customer then casually instructed him to dispose of the box there, revealing its contents were trash.

The delivery partner expressed his astonishment at being utilized for such a purpose, highlighting the unusual ways delivery services are being employed. This situation has divided public opinion, with some finding it a clever 'jugaad' while others criticize the lack of respect shown towards gig workers.
