The Delhi Metro's Magenta Line is poised to become the network's longest corridor, spanning approximately 89 kilometers from Noida Botanical Garden to Inderlok. This significant expansion, incorporating Phase IV and V(A) corridors, will result in a total of 65 stations, with a notable 40 stations situated underground.
Upon completion, the Magenta Line will feature an impressive 21 interchange stations, enhancing connectivity across Delhi-NCR. Key among these are triple interchange stations like Central Secretariat, Azadpur, New Delhi, and Inderlok, offering connections to three different Metro lines. The entire corridor is planned to operate as a driverless Metro system.
The line also hosts unique engineering feats, including Haiderpur Badli Mor as the highest elevated station and Hauz Khas as the deepest underground station. These advancements are expected to reduce travel times and ease congestion on existing routes.
