Deere Expands US Footprint with New Indiana, NC Plants

Deere is set to enhance its U.S. operations with the upcoming opening of two new facilities. A new distribution center is planned near Hebron, Indiana, a move designed to bolster the company's supply chain and ensure timely delivery of equipment and parts. This Indiana facility is expected to generate around 150 new job opportunities.

Further expanding its domestic production, Deere is also establishing a new $70 million factory in Kernersville, North Carolina. This facility will manufacture excavators for the construction sector, a product line previously made in Japan. Over 150 individuals will be employed at this site. These initiatives are integral to Deere's substantial commitment to invest $20 billion in American manufacturing over the coming ten years.
