Summary
- DBS Bank's digital services resumed normal operations after customer access issues.
- Customers reported difficulties with mobile banking and fund transfers on Thursday.
- Monies and deposits of DBS customers were confirmed to remain safe during the disruption.

Singapore's DBS Bank announced that its digital services were fully restored by 1:19 p.m. on Thursday, March 19. The restoration followed a period starting around noon when customers experienced significant problems accessing the bank's online platforms. Reports indicated widespread issues with mobile banking functionalities and difficulties in executing fund transfers.
DBS issued a statement via Facebook, apologizing for the inconvenience and confirming that customer funds and deposits were not compromised. This incident occurs in the wake of previous service disruptions experienced by the bank in 2023. As a consequence of those past issues, Singapore's central bank had previously imposed operational risk multipliers and paused non-essential activities at DBS.
