Dalaroo Eyes Massive Greenland Critical Minerals

Summary
- Dalaroo Metals launches ambitious Greenland exploration campaign.
- Focus on testing critical minerals discovery scale offshore.
- Combines onshore and offshore exploration for integrated testing.

Dalaroo Metals has launched its most ambitious exploration campaign in Greenland, focusing on the Blue Lagoon project. This initiative aims to determine the true scale of critical minerals discovered last year. The company is currently mobilizing for its 2026 field season, transitioning from discovery to scale testing.
The primary objective is to ascertain if the 2.7km corridor of rare earths, zirconium, and hafnium identified in 2025 extends beyond the shoreline. This year's campaign will uniquely integrate both onshore and offshore exploration activities. Onshore efforts include auger drilling and geological mapping, while offshore work will involve geochemical sampling and seabed grab sampling.
This program represents a move towards a fully integrated source-to-sink model, theorizing that alkaline intrusive rocks release heavy minerals. These minerals are then naturally transported by water systems into offshore sediment traps. Dalaroo's 2025 exploration program yielded consistently anomalous critical mineral values across all 113 samples, supporting the belief in a significant mineral system.
CEO John Morgan highlighted the opportunity to test for extended heavy mineral concentrations offshore, potentially increasing the system's scale. The expansion of Dalaroo's licences within Greenland's Gardar Alkaline Province provides access to a broader mineral transport pathway. This strategic move aligns with Western economies' efforts to secure critical mineral supply chains outside of China, positioning Greenland as a key supplier for advanced technologies and electrification infrastructure.
