Meanwhile, a Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers franchisee, M&M Custard LLC and 31 affiliates, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in mid-November to reorganize their businesses and restructure debts.
Despite these setbacks, consumers remain passionate about their favorite frozen dessert chains, and the industry continues to evolve to meet their demands.
