CURRYiT, a Delhi-based direct-to-consumer food brand specializing in clean-label convenience products, has successfully secured ₹1.5 crore in funding from Mohit Yadav, Co-founder of Minimalist, on Shark Tank India. This significant investment will bolster CURRYiT's mission to simplify home cooking while preserving the authenticity and taste of traditional dishes.
Founded in 2022 by IIM Udaipur alumni Richa Sharma and Nischal Kandula, CURRYiT addresses the challenge of time constraints in preparing home-cooked meals. The brand offers an array of instant wet masalas, ready-to-cook curries, and biryani mixes designed for preparation within 15 minutes. Their product line features traditional recipes that deliver familiar flavors without the complexity of extensive preparation.
CURRYiT's clean-label approach is a key differentiator, with products approved by the FDA and SPICE Board, and ISO-certified. Utilizing advanced autoclave technology and multi-layer vacuum-sealed packaging, the brand ensures a 12-month shelf life without preservatives. The founders plan to leverage the investment to accelerate product innovation, expand distribution, and explore international markets, including the Middle East, Singapore, and the United States by 2026.
