Summary
- Costco recalls Caesar Salad and Chicken Sandwich with Caesar Salad
- Possible presence of plastic foreign material in the salad dressing
- Affected products have Sell By Dates between October 17, 2025, and November 9, 2025

On November 17, 2025, Costco announced a recall for two of its prepackaged food items - a Caesar Salad and a Chicken Sandwich with Caesar Salad. The recall was issued due to the potential presence of plastic foreign material in the salad dressing of these products.
According to the notice, the affected Caesar Salad and Chicken Sandwich with Caesar Salad have Sell By Dates ranging from October 17, 2025, to November 9, 2025. Customers who have purchased these items are urged not to consume them and instead return them to their local Costco store for a full refund.
This is the latest in a series of recalls issued by Costco this year. In September 2025, the company recalled its Kirkland brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke due to potential Listeria contamination, and earlier this month, over 940,000 bottles of Kirkland Signature Prosecco Valdobbiadene were recalled over the risk of the glass bottles shattering.
Costco has encouraged customers with any concerns about the recalled products to contact the company's customer service for further assistance. The retailer and its food supplier, Venture Foods, are working to address the issue and ensure the safety of their customers.
