Summary
- A Coconut Grove estate is listed for $110 million.
- The property has been in the seller's family for nearly a century.
- The home is near properties owned by Larry Page and Ken Griffin.

A family that has owned a historic Coconut Grove estate for nearly a century is now listing it for $110 million. Located on 1.6 acres along Biscayne Bay, the property is one of only a few on a coveted stretch, situated between the homes of Ken Griffin and the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
The residence, built around the 1920s, spans approximately 5,700 square feet across three floors. While well-maintained, the home may be suited for modernization or replacement by a buyer looking to build a larger structure. The Nunes family acquired the property in 2012 from Karen Romfh Nunes' mother.
This sale occurs amid significant real estate activity in Coconut Grove. Google co-founder Larry Page recently invested approximately $188 million in local properties. Meanwhile, Ken Griffin has been actively assembling an extensive oceanfront compound in Palm Beach, spending over $400 million since 2012.
Hedge fund billionaire Ken Griffin, whose Coconut Grove property includes a historic circa-1913 home, has also proposed relocating that structure to the Vizcaya Museum grounds. He previously donated $20 million to the museum last year, underscoring his deep connection to the area's cultural and historical landmarks.
