Summary
- Coca-Cola is suing Vue Entertainment for alleged unpaid debts.
- Vue ended its 25-year partnership with Coca-Cola for PepsiCo.
- The switch to PepsiCo as exclusive supplier is effective March 2025.

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has initiated legal proceedings against Vue Entertainment, seeking to reclaim alleged unpaid debts. This action follows the cinema chain's decision to terminate a nearly 25-year partnership with Coca-Cola.
In March 2025, Vue, a major European cinema operator with 222 sites across eight countries, is set to transition to PepsiCo as its exclusive soft drink supplier. This agreement is slated to last until at least 2030.
Coca-Cola's legal claim has been lodged by a specialist debt recovery firm. While the exact amount of disputed debt is not public, Vue's chief executive expressed surprise at the legal escalation, suggesting a phone call could have resolved the matter.
