CNH India has achieved its highest-ever market share in the country, with domestic tractor sales jumping 42% to 30,248 units in the first half of 2026. This performance significantly outpaced the overall industry growth of 25% during the same period.
Exports from CNH India also experienced robust growth, rising approximately 20% to 6,666 units in the first six months of 2026. This increase occurred despite earlier disruptions from U.S. tariffs, indicating resilience in international markets.
The company is set to significantly expand its manufacturing capabilities with a fourth facility near Greater Noida. Expected to be commissioned in early 2028, this plant will nearly double CNH's annual tractor production capacity in India to about 120,000 units.
CNH India plans to introduce a new compact tractor in the 25-30 HP range in the second half of 2028, targeting both domestic and international markets, including the U.S. and Europe.
Focusing on expanding its product portfolio into lower horsepower categories and strengthening its dealer network, CNH India is confident in its strategy to reach double-digit market share within five to six years.
India is a crucial element of CNH's global strategy, encompassing domestic sales, exports, its technology center, and component sourcing for worldwide plants. The company also exports components like PTOs and axles from India.
