Construction is anticipated to commence in spring 2026, with the village projected to open in summer 2029. The extensive site will boast up to 700 lodges, an indoor water park, a village center with retail and dining, and a forest spa. Unique features include the planting of a new forest, two lochs for water sports, and a nature center promoting biodiversity.
McKinlay emphasized the importance of community engagement, stating that while general information about the project, timelines, and typical job roles will be shared, specific details on recruitment and supplier opportunities will be provided later.
