Eastham house teeters on cliff's edge amid erosion

A property in Eastham is now precariously close to a cliff edge, with erosion bringing it within 10 feet of a 70-foot drop to the beach below. The owner, who purchased the cottage last year, is finding the erosion is happening much faster than anticipated and is at odds with town officials.

In real estate news, Goldman Sachs has finalized the purchase of the initial phase of the Hanover Hyannis apartment complex for $129.5 million. This phase includes 272 units, with a second phase of 320 apartments slated for construction soon.
