A significant digital transformation initiative is underway in Canada's financial sector. Thirty-seven financial institutions, participating in the National Digital Banking Working Group (NDBWG), have selected Intellect Design Arena to spearhead a world-class digital banking experience. This collaboration will impact over 262,000 credit union and financial institution members across five provinces.
The NDBWG's chosen platform is Intellect's eMACH.ai Digital Engagement Platform. This partnership unites institutions managing a substantial $11.7 billion CAD in assets. The move signifies a major step towards a unified and future-ready digital architecture within Canada's financial ecosystem.
Following an exclusive negotiation period that began in August 2025, Intellect's platform emerged as the preferred choice among 59 institutions that participated in the vendor selection. While 37 institutions have formally signed on, additional entities are still in the process of joining this transformative project.
