Cabral Gold Inc. has significantly advanced construction and commissioning activities for its Phase 1 gold-in-oxide heap leach project in Brazil's Cuiú Cuiú Gold District. The company is now targeting first gold production in September, approximately six weeks earlier than initially planned.
This accelerated timeline follows the receipt of the crucial Operating License from SEMAS/PA, enabling the mining and stacking of gold-in-oxide ore. Construction of the project's wet processing circuit is substantially complete, with mechanical assembly finished and electrical installations nearing 90% completion. Commissioning efforts are currently in progress.
Further regulatory milestones include the final approval for cyanide usage from Brazilian military authorities, vital for the leaching process. The project is also tracking expenditures and schedule in line with its Pre-Feasibility Study dated July 29, 2025.
Commercial gold production is expected during the fourth quarter of 2026. The project has reported one non-critical lost time incident involving a contractor, with a total of 592,380 hours worked on site.
