BYD has launched a special First Anniversary Edition of its Sealion 7 SUV in India, marking one year since its initial release. Customers can now place bookings for this edition by paying a Rs. 70,000 token fee.
The electric SUV retains its advanced Cell-to-Body (CTB) construction and Blade Battery technology, now incorporating LFP for its low-voltage battery with an extended eight-year warranty. Performance variants accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, supported by an 82.56 kWh battery pack offering a NEDC range of up to 567 km.
Inside, the Anniversary Edition introduces a unique Tahiti Blue theme, complemented by a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, premium leather, and a panoramic glass roof. The electric SUV is priced at Rs. 49.40 lakh for the Premium trim and Rs. 54.90 lakh for the Performance trim.
As an incentive, the first 1,100 customers will receive a complimentary 11 kW home charger with installation, alongside two years of free service and maintenance. This move strengthens BYD's electric vehicle lineup in India.
