Brookfield India Real Estate Trust has successfully raised Rs 3,500 crore via a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of units. This significant capital infusion saw strong participation from both existing and new investors, indicating robust market confidence.
The primary objective of this fundraising is to facilitate the acquisition of Ecoworld, a Grade A, 7.7 million square feet office campus situated on the Outer Ring Road in Bengaluru. This strategic purchase is set to enhance Brookfield India REIT's operational footprint.
Following this acquisition, Brookfield India REIT's total operating portfolio will surpass 32 million square feet, with a gross asset value exceeding Rs 53,000 crores. The Issue Committee approved the issuance of 10.94 crore new units on December 10, 2025.
