Breeze Air Delays LA Flights Amid Fuel Cost Surge
21 Apr
Summary
- Breeze Airways flights to Los Angeles from Pittsburgh delayed.
- Route resumption pushed to June 2 due to rising fuel costs.
- United Airlines also offers daily nonstop service to LA.

Breeze Airways is delaying the restart of its nonstop flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to Los Angeles. The airline spokesperson cited rising fuel costs as the reason for the postponement.
Originally scheduled to resume on May 7, the seasonally available route is now expected to relaunch on June 2. Flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The carrier currently serves 16 destinations from Pittsburgh.
This development follows United Airlines' announcement in January to reintroduce daily nonstop service to Los Angeles, which began last month. United had previously offered direct flights between these two cities in 2014.
