Summary
- Bosch India reports 3.4% year-on-year growth in Q2 FY26 net profit
- Revenues up 9.1% to ₹4,795 crore, driven by passenger car and off-highway segments
- Festive season and GST rationalisation expected to boost demand across components

Bosch, the Indian unit of the German engineering and technology company, has reported a 3.4% year-on-year growth in its consolidated net profit for the second quarter of the fiscal year 2026. The company's net profit stood at ₹554 crore during this period.
The growth was primarily attributed to sustained demand in the passenger car and off-highway segments, coupled with increased sales in key components. Revenues from operations also saw a 9.1% year-on-year increase, reaching ₹4,795 crore in Q2FY26.
Guruprasad Mudlapur, President of the Bosch Group in India, stated, "This quarter, we recorded growth led by sustained demand in the passenger car and off-highway segments, coupled with increased sales in key components. With the festive season and GST rationalisation bringing renewed optimism, we anticipate healthy demand across components driven by improving customer sentiment."
Total expenses for the quarter increased by 8.9% to ₹4,274 crore, mainly due to a 10.6% rise in the cost of materials consumed. The automotive segment saw an 11.9% increase in sales, while the Power Solutions business grew by 9.5%, primarily driven by the passenger car and off-highway segments. The 2-wheeler business reported an 81.8% growth, primarily due to higher sales of exhaust gas sensors following the ramp-up for OBD-II norms implementation from April 1, 2025.
