This project is co-located with a 50 MW / 200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The NTPC REL award is valued at approximately ₹1,338 crore, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Execution of this major project is slated to be completed within 18 months. It aligns with NTPC Renewable Energy's strategy to enhance large-scale renewable generation and integrate advanced storage for grid stability.
The integration of solar power with battery storage marks a crucial step in Bharat's renewable energy sector, aiming for consistent power availability. This brings Bondada Engineering's Solar EPC order book to approximately 5.5 GWp and its BESS order book to 1.1 GWh.
