BMW India has introduced the new X1 Long Wheelbase (LWB) to its lineup, priced at Rs 49.90 lakh.
This extended wheelbase variant measures 4,616 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,802 mm, an increase of 108 mm. This enhancement significantly boosts rear-seat comfort, providing an additional 109 mm of knee room and a 15 mm longer seat cushion.
The X1 LWB is propelled by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. It generates 156 hp and 230 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for front-wheel drive.
Exterior design elements include 18-inch alloy wheels, BMW's signature kidney grille, and adaptive LED headlamps. The interior focuses on rear comfort, featuring electrically adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
Safety is a key focus, with eight airbags, ABS, Dynamic Stability Control, and a comprehensive suite of ADAS features. It also includes Park Assist Plus and Reverse Assistant.
