Work is commencing on a new seven-storey holiday apartment block situated on Blackpool's seafront. The Ciconia Group, an investment company from the Netherlands, is spearheading this "luxury" seaside accommodation project. The plans detail 26 two-bedroom serviced apartments designed for holiday rentals. These are intended to attract families looking for higher-end options, offering a welcoming stay away from the city centre's bustle while still embracing Blackpool's attractions.
Construction is anticipated to start in July or August. The projected completion date for the New Ambassador development is around summer 2027. Advertisements at the site currently indicate the project is "coming soon in 2027".
