A significant new cultural and leisure zone situated near Rajghat in Ayodhya is approaching completion, with 90% of the development work already finished. This project, developed under the Shri Ayodhya Ji Teerth Vikas Yojana, is set to be ready in time for this year's Deepotsav celebrations. The facility is designed to enhance the visitor experience by offering an amphitheatre capable of seating 150-200 people for cultural performances. It will also feature mural walls illustrating the Hanuman Chalisa, an eight-shop food plaza, a cafe, and essential public amenities.
Officials anticipate a further increase in tourist numbers for Deepotsav this year, following last year's attendance of approximately 2.85 crore domestic and international visitors. The new Saryu-view zone is envisioned not just as a facility but as a distinctive experience, strengthening the Ramayana Circuit. It aims to combine cultural programs, local cuisine, and the serene Saryu ambience to better serve visitors throughout the year.
