23 Feb
Summary
- Marshall Lewy appointed head of North American content at Audible.
- Lewy previously served as chief content officer at Wondery.
- Audible has dozens of audio-first projects in development.

Marshall Lewy, who previously held the chief content officer position at Wondery, has been appointed to lead Audible's content strategy for North America. This expanded role encompasses oversight of audiobooks, immersive audio dramas, podcasts, and investigative series. Lewy will also manage Audible Theater, including its Off-Broadway productions and development, as well as the company's film and television production initiatives.
The move is a result of Wondery's breakup in August 2025, after which Amazon transferred Wondery's narrative podcast team and Lewy to Audible. As of February 2026, Audible reports having dozens of audio-first projects currently in development across various networks and studios. Lewy will report directly to Rachel Ghiazza, Audible's chief content officer.
