Arun Mammen, serving as the Vice Chairman & Managing Director of MRF Ltd., has been re-elected to lead the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association (ATMA) as its Chairman. This marks a continuation of his leadership within the national industry body.
In a significant leadership update, Rajarshi Moitra, who holds the position of Managing Director at Bridgestone India Pvt Ltd, has been appointed as the new Vice Chairman of ATMA. The association further announced that Sanjay Chatterjee, currently the Assistant Director General of ATMA, will assume the role of Director General, succeeding Rajiv Budhraja upon his retirement on March 31, 2026.
Established in 1975, ATMA plays a crucial role in representing India's automotive tyre sector, an industry valued at over USD 12 billion. Its membership comprises major Indian and international tyre manufacturers, collectively accounting for more than 80 percent of the country's tyre production.
