Atlanta Rent Prices Dip: Key Cities Still Costly

Rent prices in metro Atlanta have shown a slight decrease, according to a recent report, though the cost of living in several cities remains high. The median rent for a one-bedroom apartment in Georgia concluded the year at $1,264.
Alpharetta was identified as the priciest city for renters, with a median one-bedroom costing $1,610, closely followed by Atlanta at $1,600. For two-bedroom units, Atlanta led with a median rent of $2,040, slightly higher than Alpharetta's $1,950.
Conversely, Lagrange offered the most affordable rentals at $850 for a one-bedroom, also recording the steepest annual rent price drop of 26.7%. Only Marietta and East Point experienced rent increases compared to the previous year.
