Asian Paints announced robust financial results for the fourth quarter, with consolidated net sales rising by 11% year-over-year to Rs 9,228 crore. The company's net profit for the quarter significantly increased to Rs 1,172 crore, a substantial jump from Rs 629 crore in the same period last year. This growth was fueled by strong performance in its decorative business, which saw a 10.2% value increase, and a double-digit expansion in its industrial segment.
The Mumbai-headquartered firm also recommended a final dividend of Rs 23 per share, subject to shareholder approval. If approved, the total dividend for FY26, including a prior interim dividend, would amount to Rs 27.50 per share. Despite the strong financial upturn, management cited potential near-term demand uncertainty stemming from the ongoing West Asia conflict.
